Rachael Lopes, CRPR, Managing Partner
Rachael Lopes is Certified Recreation and Park Professional, trained archaeologist, accomplished photographer and videographer, and an expert in trail design and master planning. She serves as Hilride’s Project Manager.
Nat Lopes, Partner
Nat Lopes is an expert trail and bike park designer and master planner with a background in marketing, product design, video editing and production. He serves as Hilride’s Lead Designer.
Rachael Lopes and Nat Lopes have traveled extensively working, riding and filming in more than 900 locations across all 50 United States, 9 Canadian provinces and 15 different countries around the world. Working as a team, they have consulted with clients ranging from Croatia’s Region of Istria Department of Tourism to the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources. They have trained staff from nearly every major land management agency in the United States including the National Park Service (NPS), United States Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on how to design, plan, construct and maintain sustainable multi-use and mountain bike specific trails and trails systems.
Prior to launching Hilride, Rachael and Nat worked for three years for the International Mountain Bicycling Association’s (IMBA) acclaimed Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew program.
