East Bay Regional Park District, Oakland, CA - Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park Trail Plan

EBRPD hired Hilride to develop a conceptual plan for a multi-use trail system for Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park, which includes 7,352 acres, of which 5,152 acres are currently open to the public. Hilride is also developing a trail assessment process and trail standards to inform the trail plan. The conceptual trail plan will result in a stacked loop trail system that provides parkland experiences for a broad range of skill levels and multi-use connections to key destinations. The plan will result in a multi-use trail system that will enhance habitat conditions for endangered species, maximize interpretive and recreation program opportunities and minimize public access impacts to adjacent neighbors.

Project Start: August, 2009  Projected Completion: Spring, 2010
